Lucky night

I have shot football for many years. It is definitely my favorite thing to shoot. I always carry an "around the neck" camera. For those who do not know what that is, let me explain. You normally use long lenses to shoot with, but sometimes things happen right in front of you and the telephotos are just too tight and you only get a hand or the top of the head. You see this happen all of the time if you watch football on TV. The big sideline pass happens and you see some poor schmuck with a long lens watching the play instead of shooting.
He is usually cursing.
So I have always carried a second or third body with a wide angle lens waiting for this to happen. In all of my years of shooting, it NEVER did until this year. Friday night I was covering Beebe and Batesville. In the first quarter it happened three times in a row. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day. One of them turned out OK and here it is
