I see stars

I got the new telescope working last night. It took three days of dis-assembly and re-assembly with various mods, but it is now perfect.

As always, I am obsessing.

I had high hopes of viewing from my front yard, but that is going to be tough. I can only se a half dozen or so bright stars. I did see M57, the ring nebula and could make out a bit of color. Nebuleas and galaxies are out of the question. So the quest for darker skies now begins. I hope I can turn this into a sane hobby and din't burn out too fast. So much to do. Tomorrow is supper club, I still have to finish the tile downstairs, and floor the attic.

I think I'll watch TV instead.
